The staff of Fiji Gas are 'the people behind the flame'. Over the past 50 years there have been numerous people whose input into the company have moulded and developed the gas industry in Fiji. Two generations of Probert, Roger and Harvie have guided and nurtured the company from its tentative beginning to a company with an operating profit of over F$2 million. The company is its workforce, from the CEO to the cylinder delivery staff, everyone's effort contributes to the success of the company.
Harvie Probert
Roger Harvie Probert was appointed Operations Manager for Fiji Gas in September 1977 but remained involved in marketing and engineering. Following the completion of various management courses in New Zealand and at the University of the South Pacific in Fiji and after the retirement of his father, Roger Probert in 1983, Harvie was appointed General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of Fiji Gas, a position he continues to hold today.
Hans Reiher
Hans joined Fiji Gas in June 2000 as Engineering Services Coordinator and was the company's Operations Manager till 2009.
Freeman Gock
Freeman was appointed Financial Controller and Company Secretary in September 2002.
