Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) as announced by the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission (FCCC) effective from 1st May 2022

VAT Exemption

As per the Revised 2021/2022 Budget, Cooking Gas has been declared as a zero-rated product, exempt from VAT of 9% effective from 1st April 2022. VAT exemption will apply on all Cylinder products, while 9% VAT will apply on sale of Bulk and Auto gas.

The FCCC price determination is done now monthly and is determined by the movement in the international prices for Petroleum and LPG products.
